(I wrote this article at risk)
Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Almost everyone knows him even if she isn't an American or doesn't live in the US. His fight against racist discrimination succeed in the level of the law. Those ones whom he cared about eventually get their civil rights promised by the Constitute. They can walk in the US territory like other white people. To repay sufferings imposed on their ancestors, their employment and education opportunities are highly protected, especially in public institutions. His story is inspiring to other minority groups? No, absolutely not.
Minority, is never a stable concept. When more and more people all over the world come here, minority of minority appears. How do those whom he cares about treat them? Sadly, impatience and rudeness could summarize it. Pray if a minority of minority has some businesses with those ones working in the public sectors. Not most of them are cultured like their counterparts in the universities. They could show he how pitiful a minority of minority is. Thanks to the Constitute and laws' coverage otherwise he is either enslaved or shot.
Minority of minority, who is not favored by laws or practices, has to overcome the language barrier and double racist discrimination to survive here. On average, they succeed in terms of earnings. On the other hand, many belonging to those whom he cares about speaking good English, getting flavors by the laws and being rude to minority of minority can only get the social security from the government. They don't consider why their earnings are far below the average given their superiorities in laws? Jewish, a formidable minority group, can buy respect by their money; they in the second largest group can only keep their esteem by scorning minority of minority.
What would Martin Luther King Jr. think if he were alive?
