April 20th, Friday
While the pollen ceases, and the breeze blows, Americans cook out to welcome the spring. Professor invited us to the backyard behind his house. He served us amazing big pork chops. I ate four pieces of pork and two pieces of cake. The Japanese cake looking like the one sold in the supermarket was made by the professor's wife. She is really a good cook.
Backyard. There were some flies that bite.

Veggie and Sweet Corn
We then visited their study rooms. There are hundreds of books on the shelves. Some are the professors; some are his father's. His father is a man called "Confucian general", a combination of a scholar and general. His story is long enough to have an autograph for his children. Professor must very value it. While we were about to leave, the professor's wife gave me a holy bible. I always know I cannot disappoint someone who has expectation on me. I will surely read it carefully.
Bible. I always think books given as gifts by friends are the most precious. They could either want to communicate with me through books or want me to be more acknowledgeable.
April 21st, Saturday
Right after I went home in the midnight, Jim arrived Raleigh from Philadelphia. In the noon he invited one and half dozens of friends to have a good lunch in a new Hibachi China Buffet. I ate too much meat and chicken. I didn't feel much guilty about this because I have learnt how to manage my weight. Jim joined a sports club. It seems he finds the balance between the job and life.
